My Story

In 2018, while working full-time, I studied Interior Decorating in the evenings to pursue my growing interest in interior design. Around the same time, I worked alongside my husband in his events and styling business, gaining hands-on experience in creative direction, spatial planning, and client collaboration.

Like so many others, our world changed in 2020 when the pandemic hit. Over the next two years, we made the difficult decision to close our business and start fresh in the Western Cape. It was a challenging yet transformative time that pushed me to reflect deeply on what truly inspires me.

That reflection led to the creation of Tidswell Interiors — a boutique interior design studio based in the Western Cape, dedicated to creating beautiful, functional spaces that reflect the personality and lifestyle of each client. My design philosophy is simple: every home should feel both aesthetically inspiring and deeply practical.

At Tidswell Interiors, I bring together my background in fashion, textiles, and decorating to design interiors that are timeless, comfortable, and uniquely personal. Whether it’s a home renovation, room makeover, or complete interior transformation, my goal is to help clients fall in love with their space again.
